In a tragic incident, one student has lost their life, while another is now in custody after a shooting unfolded on Tuesday at a Louisiana high school, according to local authorities. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at St. Helena College & Career Academy in Greensburg, as reported by the St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office. Additional individuals have been transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention, although their current conditions remain undisclosed.
Sheriff Nat Williams has confirmed that the alleged shooter, a juvenile and a student at the school, has been apprehended. Details regarding the charges are expected to be released at a later juncture, as stated by Sheriff Williams. At this stage, authorities have not been able to discern a motive for the shooting.
