According to Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor's media briefing on August 1, invitations were made to 67 leaders from Africa and the Global South to attend the summit.
Pandor said that the summit has successfully included leaders from several continents and areas representing the Global South.
Furthermore, a total of 20 distinguished individuals, comprising the secretary-general of the United Nations and the chairman of the African Union Commission, have been extended invitations to participate in the summit.
