A 20-year-old NEET aspirant from West Bengal committed suicide in his rented accommodation in Rajasthan's Kota. This is the 28th suicide attempt by a coaching student in Rajasthan's Kota this year.
Faureed Hussain was the name of Deceased
Faureed Hussain, a West Bengal Birhum district resident, had been studying for the NEET medical entrance exam at Kota's coaching institute for about a year. Since July of this year, he has been residing in Wauf Nagar. He was living in rented housing when he committed suicide. Other coaching institute students lived in the same building as the deceased.
Suspicion grew over Hussain's absence when he did not leave his room until 8 p.m. Monday afternoon was when he was last seen. Even when his friends called, he did not open the door. When he received no response, his friends informed the house owner.
The house owner then informed police about the incident, and police rushed to the scene, according to Circle Inspector Rajesh Pathak of Dadabari police station. When police broke open the door, they discovered the youth hanging and lifeless.
NO Suicide note found in his room
He continued, "No suicide note was found in the room, and the reason for the extreme step is unknown." The officer stated that a post-mortem will be performed once his parents arrive.

Previously, authorities in Rajasthan made the decision to install "anti-suicide nets" in balconies and spring-loaded fans in rooms in order to make the premises "suicide-proof." 6 coaching students committed suicide in August in Kota, which is a hub for students preparing for the NEET.
