4 people lost their lives and 7 reported missing after a pharma company in Maharashtra caught fire

Massive fire at Pharma Company in Raigad district of Maharashtra claimed at least four lives and left up to seven missing.

An official stated on Saturday that seven people have been injured and that a search has been launched for the missing people. It was reported that the fire started at 11 a.m. on Friday.

As per the statement made by an official of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the fire broke out at Blue Jet Healthcare located at the Mahad MIDC in nearby Raigad.

According to officials on Friday, there was a blast at the factory before the fire started. The chemical barrels eventually exploded as a result of the fire.
