A gift of 5 lakh laddus from Ujjain to reach Ayodhya for Sri Ram
The famous Ujjain Mahakaleshwar temple has been preparing to send 5 lakh laddus to Ayodhya for the Pran Pratistha. The team of people preparing laddus have already packed 4 lakhs laddus.
In a sweet gesture of devotion, the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain has undertaken the task of preparing and sending a generous offering of laddus to Ayodhya for the consecration of the grand Ram temple scheduled for January 22. A temple official confirmed that a substantial quantity of laddus, weighing approximately 250 quintals, is being readied for the occasion.
Laddu Production in Full Swing
The assistant administrator of the Mahakaleshwar Temple, Moolchand Junwal, shared that the temple has already packed four lakh laddus, each weighing around 50 grams. An additional one lakh laddus are currently in the process of being packed. The entire consignment will be dispatched to Ayodhya in three to four trucks on Friday.
Community Effort in Laddu Preparation
Highlighting the communal spirit, Junwal mentioned that a team of 150 temple staff and individuals from social organizations worked tirelessly over five days to prepare the sweet treats. This initiative was initiated following the announcement by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who declared that these laddus would serve as prasad from "Baba Mahakal" to Ayodhya.
Special arrangement for Laddu making
Junwal disclosed the existence of a special unit on the Mahakal shrine premises dedicated to the preparation of these laddus. The effort is a testament to the dedication of the temple community to contribute to the historic occasion.
How can MP be left behind?
Chief Minister Yadav, speaking on January 12 in Bhopal, emphasized the significance of the gesture. He stated, "We are going to send five lakh laddus from the famous Mahakaleshwar Mandir, Ujjain, to Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22" Yadav underscored the historical context, noting that the temple in Ayodhya, demolished by Mughal emperor Babar, has now been rebuilt, and Madhya Pradesh is keen to participate in the celebratory occasion.
Chhattisgarh Joins the Celebration
In a show of solidarity, neighboring Chhattisgarh has also contributed to the festivities by sending 300 tons of the finest aromatic rice to Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. This collective effort reflects the shared joy and enthusiasm across states for the auspicious event.
