A series of Earthquakes shake Nepal
On Tuesday Nepal was hit by several strong tremors. The tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR region as well. The magnitude of first earthquake was recorded as 4.6 and within 25 minutes, another shock of 6.2 magnitude hit the country. According to the National Center for Seismology, the depth of the earthquake was 5 km.
People felt the tremors and rushed out of their houses and office buildings even in New Delhi.
After the second earthquake, another tremor of 3.8 magnitude hit the country just 15 min later succeeded by 3.1 magnitude after 13 minutes in the afternoon.
According to National Centre Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was 29.39 degrees north on the latitude and 81.23 degrees east on the longitude in Nepal.

The German Research Centre for Geosciences, GFZ (GeoForschungsZentrum), also reported a seismic event in the same region, indicating a magnitude 5.6 earthquake in Nepal.
The impact of the earthquake was felt beyond the borders of Nepal and India. In Dehradun, in northern India, strong tremors prompted people to evacuate buildings, adding to the sense of alarm in the region.
The earthquake occurred at approximately 2:51 pm local time, and seismologists are closely monitoring the situation for any potential aftershocks or further developments. Authorities in both countries are advising residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions as a precautionary measure.
