Actress Aditi Rao Hydari participated in an extremely distinguished panel discussion at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The forum was curated to discuss the collaborative initiatives between the UK and India in the film industry, exploring the theme "Film Facilitation: UK and India's 2023 Co-Production Journey". Aditi plays a protagonist in the first feature film under this alliance - 'Lioness'.

The 54th International Film Festival of India, being held in Goa, announced the first official Indo British co-production "Lioness", which the National Film Development Corporation and British Film Institute are jointly presenting. The film is headlined by Aditi Rao Hydari and Paige Sandhu.

Aditi Rao Hydari was part of a panel discussion to discuss the collaboration and its impact on Global Cinema. The panel also featured the film's director, Kajri Babbar, producer Shahnaab Alam, BFI Head of International Relations, Agnieszka Moody & the Joint Secretary Films and Managing Director, NFDC Shri Prithul Kumar. The panel was moderated by Naman Ramachandran, senior journalist from Variety.

A poster of the film Lioness was also unveiled at the occassion and, in a very unique marketing move, a digital version of the very intriguing poster will be available as an NFT.

Additionally, Khatija Rahaman, the talented daughter of music maestro A. R Rahman, makes her debut as a music composer in an international film with Lioness, adding another layer of artistic brilliance to the project.

Later in the day, the much awaited silent film 'Gandhi Talks', was screened at #IFFI, for which the entire team came together and graced the red carpet, including Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, legendary music composer AR Rahman, Siddarth Jadhav, Director Kishor Belekar, Producer Rajesh Kejriwal and Zee Studio head, Shariq Patel. Actor Arvind Swamy is also a part of Gandhi Talks but was unable to attend the Gala Premiere due to prior commitments.
