All though the President's rule has been lifted and Omar Abdullah is going to become the next Chief Minister of the Jammu and Kashmir. However after the oath taking ceremony, election to be held for the four Rajya Sabha seats in the Valley. While it is expected that the Congress and National Conference alliance will easily win three seats. The National Conference can nominate the party's patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah for Rajya Sabha.
