Air Force Officer Issues legal notice against 'Fighter' movie over Hrithik-Deepika kissing scene
Bollywood film 'Fighter,' starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has found itself entangled in a legal controversy. A legal notice has been served against the movie's makers, raising objections to a kissing scene featuring the lead actors donned in Indian Air Force uniforms.
Air Force Officer from Assam takes a stand
The legal notice was filed by Air Force officer Saumya Deep Das from Assam against 'Fighter' movie. Das alleges that the particular scene is an affront to the dignity of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The objection centers around the use of the IAF uniform in a context that is perceived as disrespectful.
'Fighter' movie Plot and Controversial Scene
The storyline of 'Fighter' revolves around two skilled fighter pilots, Patty (Hrithik Roshan) and Pragnya (Deepika Padukone), stationed in Jammu and Kashmir. The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of a terrorist attack, and as the plot progresses, the protagonists find themselves falling in love.
The film incorporates significant real-world events such as the 2019 Pulwama attack, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the 2019 India-Pakistan border clashes. Anil Kapoor also plays a pivotal role in the action-drama.

'Fighter,' directed by Siddharth Anand, has been well-received by audiences and is performing admirably at the box office. The cast includes Hrithik Roshan as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Patty), Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Minni), and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Rocky).
The movie, marking the first collaboration between Hrithik and Deepika, has surpassed the ₹150 crore mark in India and crossed the ₹350 crore milestone globally.
