In a heartwarming move, the lock-making hub of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, has handcrafted a whopping 50-kilogram lock to gift to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The generous gift comes from Harrison Locks, a well-known player in the lock industry, as a token of love from Aligarh.

Umang Monga, the Managing Director of Harrison Locks, shared his excitement, saying, "We want to gift this lock on behalf of Aligarh, widely known for its lock industry. This is our way of participating and a gift from our side to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya."Monga also highlighted the lock's role in supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' initiative, calling it a step in the right direction. "This is our resolution to connect both districts, Aligarh and Ayodhya, and lock them together."

Expressing his hope to put Aligarh on the global map, Monga added, "Aligarh is widely known for the lock industry. The whole world is looking towards Ayodhya. This is an effort to bring Aligarh to the world map."

The special lock isn't just for show – it's fully functional and carries the engraving 'Jai Shree Ram' as a tribute to Lord Ram. This unique creation symbolizes the blend of craftsmanship and devotion, embodying the spirit of the Ram Mandir.

In a similar touching gesture, a local businessman from Jalesar Nagar Panchayat in the Etah district recently gifted a substantial 2400-kilogram bell made of 'ashtadhatu' (eight metals) to the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. Crafted in one piece, the bell's sound can reach up to 10 kilometers, and it's said to have cost around Rs 25 lakhs. Plus, there were seven more bells, each weighing 51 kilograms, making it quite a remarkable offering.

This comes after the arrival on January 4 of a 51-inch-tall idol of Lord Ram Lalla, made by a sculptor in Jaipur, ready to find its place in the much-anticipated Ram Mandir.
