Airline Incidents: Akasa Air and IndiGo Address Passenger Complaints
Airline Incidents: On September 9, an Akasa Air passenger on a Gorakhpur to Bengaluru flight reported receiving expired food packets. The issue was highlighted on social media, leading the airline to respond.
Akasa Air acknowledged that some passengers were inadvertently given refreshments that did not meet their quality standards. The airline has expressed regret for the inconvenience and is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. They are also in contact with the affected passenger to address their concerns and ensure such issues are prevented in the future.
IndiGo: Air Conditioning Complaint
Separately, IndiGo faced complaints from passengers on a Delhi to Varanasi flight regarding discomfort from the air conditioning system. A video showing passengers suffering from heat and suffocation went viral, leading to widespread concern.
IndiGo issued an apology, clarifying that there was no malfunction with the air conditioning system. They explained that the cabin temperature was adjusted based on passenger requests, which led to fluctuations.
