Allu Arjun’s 'Pushpa 2' release moved to December 5: Here’s why
'Pushpa 2 Release: 'Fans of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun have something exciting to look forward to as the release date for his highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule has been revised. Initially scheduled for release on December 6, the film will now hit theatres a day early on December 5, 2024. The film, which faced delays due to production schedules, is now locked in for its December release.
A newly released poster shows Allu Arjun in his iconic Pushpa Raj look, wearing a glossy blue shirt with a gun in hand and a smoking pipe, surrounded by piles of money, intensifying fan excitement.
At a press conference in Hyderabad, producer Naveen Yerneni addressed the change, revealing that the film had initially aimed for an August 15 release but had to be rescheduled. He explained, "After postponing it from August, we settled on December 5 to secure maximum screens."
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 continues the high-octane action drama from the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise. Alongside Allu Arjun, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, with a stellar supporting cast. The action drama, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, boasts a massive budget of Rs 500 crore, making it one of the most expensive Telugu films to date.
This move also helps Pushpa 2 avoid a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Chhava, set to release on December 6.
