Banks in India will experience a series of holidays from April 26 to April 30, 2025. However, all branches will not be closed for four straight days across the country. Different states will have holidays on different days based on local festivals and events.

Bank Holidays From April 26 to April 30, 2025
April 26, 2025 - Fourth Saturday
According to the RBI rules, banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Therefore, all banks will be closed on April 26.
April 27, 2025 - Sunday
April 27 is a Sunday, and banks are regularly closed on Sundays as part of the weekend.
April 29, 2025 - Parshuram Jayanti (Himachal Pradesh)
Banks in Himachal Pradesh will be closed on April 29 to celebrate Parshuram Jayanti.
April 30, 2025 - Basava Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya (Karnataka)
Banks in Karnataka will not operate on April 30 due to Basava Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya celebrations.

Important Note About Bank Closures
