Astral Limited Shares Drop 4% in Early Trade, Among Nifty Midcap 150’s Top Losers
Shares of Astral Limited opened weak on Tuesday, falling 4.26% to Rs.1,322.80 at 9:16 am. The decline placed the stock among the top losers in the Nifty Midcap 150, reflecting prevailing bearish sentiment in the broader market.

Quarterly Performance Slips
For the quarter ending June 2025, Astral reported revenue of Rs.1,681.40 crore, up from Rs.1,383.60 crore in the June 2024 quarter. However, net profit fell sharply from Rs.178 crore in March 2025 to Rs.79.20 crore in June 2025. Earnings per share (EPS) also declined from 6.67 to 3.02 in the same period.
Yearly Revenue Growth
On an annual basis, revenue for the year ending March 2025 rose to Rs.5,832.40 crore from Rs.5,641.40 crore in March 2024. However, net profit dipped to Rs.518.90 crore from Rs.545.70 crore a year earlier, while EPS slipped from 20.33 to 19.50.
Corporate Announcements
The company announced a final dividend of Rs.2.25 per share on May 21, 2025, with the record date set for August 14, 2025. Astral has also made announcements regarding acquisitions, financial results, and other corporate actions under Regulation 30 (LODR).
Bonus Issues and Stock Splits
Astral has a history of bonus issues and stock splits. In February 2023, the company declared a 1:3 bonus, effective from March 14, 2023. In May 2014, it announced a stock split from a face value of Rs.2 to Rs.1, effective from September 25, 2014.
