Atul Subhash Case: Wife Nikita filed anticipatory bail plea in Allahabad High Court

Suicide case of 'Artificial Intelligence' engineer Atul Subhash Modi, four people including his wife Nikita Singhania have filed anticipatory bail plea in Allahabad High Court.

Atul Subhash Suicide Case: In the case of suicide of Bengaluru-based AI engineer Atul Subhash, his wife Nikita Singhania, mother-in-law Nisha, brother-in-law Anurag and uncle-in-law Sushil, accused, have filed a petition for anticipatory bail in Allahabad High Court.

Case of suicide of 'Artificial Intelligence' Atul Subhash

This matter came into discussion when Atul left a video and a 23-page suicide note before committing suicide, in which he accused his wife and in-laws of harassing him and there being flaws in the justice system.

Now Nikita Singhania reached High Court

Atul Subhash had given a detailed description of all the events from marriage till death in his note. She alleged that she was forced to commit suicide by registering false cases against her ranging from dowry harassment to murder.

When the police reached Jaunpur from Bengaluru for investigation, Nikita's house was found locked as her mother Nisha and brother Anurag had left a few days ago. The police had pasted a notice there, asking her to give a statement in the Bengaluru case.

High Court is likely to hear the petition on Wednesday

The Allahabad High Court is likely to hear the petition filed by Nikita on Wednesday. Currently, three cases are being heard against Atul in the Jaunpur court, of which the cases of dowry harassment and assault are prominent. The court has set the next hearing date as January 12, 2025. All these developments have made Atul's suicide a serious social and legal issue, due to which the concerned parties are seeking justice in the Allahabad High Court.
