Atul Wassan's Unexpected Support for Pakistan

Former Indian cricketer Atul Wassan shocked many by stating that he wants Pakistan to win against India. According to Wassan, a victory for Pakistan would make the tournament more competitive and thrilling.

"I want Pakistan to win because it will be fun, tournament-wise. If you don’t let Pakistan win, then what will you do? If Pakistan wins, then it becomes a contest. There should be an equal fight," Wassan said in an interview with ANI.

India’s Strong Squad and Strategy for Dubai Conditions

Wassan also analyzed India's squad and praised their deep batting lineup. He highlighted the strength of players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shubman Gill. He also supported India's decision to include multiple spinners, considering the pitch conditions in Dubai.

"You have a lot of good batters: Shubman (Gill), Rohit (Sharma), Virat (Kohli). You are batting until number eight in Axar Patel. Rohit has picked five spinners, and this team is best for Dubai. Have faith in what you have and move ahead," he added.

While Pakistan started their campaign with a defeat, India had an impressive start with a dominant six-wicket win against Bangladesh. As the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match approaches, all eyes will be on whether Pakistan can bounce back or if India will continue its winning momentum.
