Congress is alleging that government is afraid of Adani issue
There is still a deadlock in the winter session of Parliament which started on November 25. Congress members are raising the issue related to the Adani Group in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, while SP MPs are demanding a discussion on the Sambhal violence case. On Monday also, the proceedings of both the houses could not last even for half an hour.
There is a discussion on the Constitution- Congress
Congress said on Monday that the opposition parties are ready to let the proceedings of both the houses of Parliament continue, but for this it is necessary that there is a discussion on the Constitution. Before the proceedings of Parliament, the leaders of INDIA Block met the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge in which Rahul Gandhi participated but no member from TMC reached it.
Internal conflict within India Block
Actually, Trinamool Congress wants that issues like inflation, unemployment, farmers, fertilizers, reduction in money given to opposition states and Manipur should be discussed in the House. On the other hand, Congress wants that only Adani issue should be discussed. On the other hand, SP is also seen distancing itself from the stand of Congress.
SP also seen distancing itself from the stand of Congress
On the other hand, other opposition parties also want that issues like farmers, Sambhal and Manipur should also be discussed. That is, among the opposition parties, TMC's stand is clear that all issues should be discussed in Parliament, more or less Samajwadi Party also wants something similar. SP MPs met the Lok Sabha Speaker today and requested discussion on Sambhal issue.
Farmers are a bigger issue than Adani
According to SP leaders, Adani issue is not as big as Sambhal. SP MP Dharmendra Yadav said that for us, farmers are a bigger issue than Adani. That is, even though Congress is harping on Adani Adani, many opposition parties want to debate on other issues.
Both house works is less than 5%
Actually, the session started on 5th November and Lok Sabha sat for only 6 minutes. On 26th November, it was Constitution Day, so there was the President's address. On 27th November, Lok Sabha proceedings lasted for only 15 minutes. On 28th November also, it sat for only 15 minutes. On 29th November, it sat for 20 minutes and today, it sat for 13 minutes. The situation is that from 25th November till now, Lok Sabha sat for a total of 69 minutes. Till now, only 4% work has been done in Lok Sabha and only 5% work has been done in Rajya Sabha.
Both house proceeding affected badly
Now the question is whether the public sends its Honorables to the chair of Parliament so that they create a ruckus like some random Nathu Khaire, or do they elect their MPs so that they make laws for their benefit. Create policies that form the basis of a better future for the people.
The stalling of Parliament is a matter of concern, that is why Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla called an all-party meeting, and the good thing is that in this meeting all parties have agreed to run the House peacefully.
