CP Radhakrishnan Takes Charge as 15th Vice-President of India
CP Radhakrishnan officially assumed office as the 15th Vice-President of India in a formal ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath, marking the beginning of his tenure in one of the nation’s highest constitutional positions.

The swearing-in ceremony was a grand event attended by senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Their presence highlighted the importance of the occasion in India’s political landscape.
Presence of Former Leaders
Former Vice-Presidents Jagdeep Dhankhar, M Venkaiah Naidu, and Hamid Ansari also graced the event. Their participation added historical weight to the ceremony, symbolizing continuity and tradition in the country’s democratic framework.

Several state leaders and governors attended the swearing-in. Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, and Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar were among the key attendees.
