Crime Against Woman in Bihar: This week, a disturbing crime took place in Bihar where a nurse bravely defended herself against a gang-rape attempt. The incident occurred on Wednesday night at the RBS Health Care Centre in Gangapur. At the time, a doctor and two of his associates were reported to be drunk. The nurse managed to escape after using a blade to injure her attacker and sought help by calling the police from a nearby field.

Details of the Attack

The accused in this case have been identified as Dr. Sanjay Kumar, the hospital administrator, and his associates Sunil Kumar Gupta and Awadhesh Kumar. According to the police, the trio had locked the hospital from inside and turned off the CCTV cameras before attacking the nurse. Their actions were further compounded by their consumption of alcohol, which is illegal in dry Bihar.

The nurse, who had been working at the hospital for about a year, was finishing her shift when she was first harassed by the drunken men. The situation escalated quickly, with Dr. Kumar attempting sexual assault. In a desperate bid to escape, the nurse used a surgical blade to injure Dr. Kumar, which allowed her to flee. The two other men pursued her but were unsuccessful in catching her.
