Day 3 at Paris Paralympics: On August 31, Day 3 of the Paris Paralympics 2024, India’s shooting team will be in the spotlight once more. Following a successful day on August 30, where India secured four medals—three of which were from shooting—Rubina Francis and Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar will be back in action. They will begin their day with the qualification rounds, hoping to advance to the finals if they perform well.

Archery and Badminton Highlights

In archery, Sheetal Devi and Sarita have advanced to the elimination rounds of the individual compound open event. Both athletes will be competing to progress further and vie for medals.

In badminton, the focus will be on several key matches. Mandeep Kaur and Manisha Ramadass will compete in the women’s singles, while Nitesh Kumar, Manoj Sarkar, Sukant Kadam, and Tarun will strive to advance in the men’s singles events.

Rowing and Athletics

On the water, Anita and Narayana Konganapalle will take part in the PR3 mixed double sculls repechage round. They will be aiming to stay in the medal race with a strong performance.

In athletics, Parveen Kumar is set to compete in the men’s javelin throw final, offering another significant opportunity for India to win a medal.
