Defense Minister Russia Visit: The Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be on visit to Russia from 8-10 December. During this time Singh and Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov will co-chair the 21st meeting of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Military and Military Technical Cooperation Commission (IRIGC-M&MTC) in Moscow on December 10.
Here Defense Minister will attend the induction of a warship into the Indian Navy and hold talks with his Russian counterpart Andrey Belousov on expanding bilateral cooperation in co-production of military hardware.

According to the Defense Ministry, all aspects of defense relations between the two countries will be discussed in this meeting, including military cooperation and industrial partnership. Apart from this, the two leaders will also discuss current regional and global issues. Defence Minister Singh will also induct the new multi-role stealth guided missile frigate INS Tushil into the Navy on December 9 from Yantra Shipyard in Kaliningrad.
Defense Minister will pay tribute to Soviet soldiers
While the Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi will also be present while inducting the stealth guided frigate into the Navy. In Moscow, the Defence Minister will pay tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honour the Soviet soldiers who died during the Second World War. Russian President expected to visit India in 2025
