Delhi Excise Policy:  Arvind Kejriwal Petition: The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing of bail plea Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for 5 September.CM Kejriwal had filed 2 petitions against his arrest by CBI, and today CBI has filed his reply on the matter, in the meanwhile his Advocate Abhishak Manu Singvi has also sought for reply on the second petition. Therefore, because of this the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing for now. Next Hearing on Arvind Kejriwal's petition against will be on 5th September, So now the Supreme Court has been postponed the hearing September, it means the delhi  Arvind Kejriwal will remain in custody for more days

CBI will reply in a week

After The Supreme Court suspended the hearing of bail today and ​​Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will remain in jail till 5th September, but the court ordered the CBI to file his reply in a week. In the meanwhile, on 14th August, the Supreme Court refused to grant interim bail to Kejriwal in the same case. CM Kejriwal lawyer Singhvi demanded interim bail and said that this is a strange situation. Why he is not granted bail, even though he when the Enforcement Directorate had granted interim bail to the AAP leader in the same case registered under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002, despite stringent provisions. All though the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing for the time, but the Aam Aadmi Party has started a new slogan, 'Kejriwal Aayenge' campaign in view of the 2025 assembly elections in Delhi. In the meanwhile, the AAP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak said that Delhiites are eagerly waiting for the release of their CM. However, several works had been stopped in Delhi since Kejriwal was in jail. But delhi people know it very well after his release all the pending works will be completed, and pending problems will also be resolved.

But after all the speculation, you can say that the fate of CM Kejriwal political carrier is in court hand, and now Kejriwal has challenged the Delhi High Court order maintaining his arrest in the corruption case related to the alleged excise policy scam. The Supreme Court has given the CBI an additional week's time to file a reply.
