Pollution has returned once again in the national capital Delhi. AQI of 371 was recorded in Delhi at 4 pm on Friday. In view of the situation, restrictions of GRAP-3 have been imposed once again in Delhi. Along with this, people have been appealed to cooperate in dealing with pollution along with protecting themselves from pollution.
This time pollution has returned with fog. Therefore, the problem has become bigger. In such a situation, once again, along with banning construction work in Delhi NCR, instructions have been given to run schools up to class 5 on hybrid mode.
Fog and pollution again comeback in Delhi-NCR
Pollution levels have once again increased in Delhi-NCR. Amid this, Centre's panel on air quality on Friday re-imposed Stage 3 restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan. In fact, the 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was 371, which was caused by dense fog, low mixing height and variable winds.
Supreme Court's directive
As per the Supreme Court's directive, whenever the AQI exceeds 350, it is mandatory to implement Stage III measures immediately so that further deterioration of air quality can be prevented According to forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, the air quality condition is expected to worsen further due to unfavorable meteorological conditions.

In view of this, the commission has again imposed restrictions of GRAP-3. According to officials, AQI of Delhi was recorded at 371 at 4 pm on Friday evening. This situation is in the category of very bad. Keeping in mind the impact of this situation on the common man, new restrictions have been imposed. According to the input received from the Delhi centre of the Indian Meteorological Department, adverse weather conditions are also a major reason for the increase in pollution this time. It is feared that due to these conditions, the air of Delhi may remain bad in the future as well.

GRAP-3 imposed again in Delhi-NCR, was removed 7 days ago
Under Stage 3, the use of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel cars (4-wheelers) is prohibited in Delhi and adjoining NCR districts. Persons with disabilities are exempted. Stage 3 also bans non-essential diesel-powered medium goods vehicles of BS-IV or older standards in Delhi
