Delhi's famous Sarai Kale Khan ISBT Chowk to Birsa Munda Chowk. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced the name change. Apart from this, a grand statue of Birsa Munda has also been unveiled near this square.

The 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda

One of the old and very famous places of the capital, Sarai Kale Khan Chowk will now be known as Birsa Munda Chowk. This announcement was made by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda.

Though Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said,the big square outside the ISBT bus stand here will be known by the name of Lord Birsa Munda. Seeing this statue and the name of that square, not only the citizens of Delhi but also the people coming to the bus stand will definitely be inspired by his life."

Unveiling of Birsa Munda's statue

While the Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled Birsa Mund grand statue on the occasion of his birth anniversary in Delhi.
