Delivery Agent Murdered: A Flipkart delivery agent named Bharat Kumar was allegedly murdered while delivering an iPhone in Lucknow’s Chinhat area. The police reported this incident on Tuesday.

Who Was the Victim?

Bharat Kumar was 30 years old and lived in Mahanagar. He was killed by a customer who ordered the iPhone using cash-on-delivery (COD).

Arrest and Investigation

The police took a man named Gajanan into custody for ordering an iPhone that cost ₹1.5 lakh. Bharat went to deliver the phone on September 23 but was allegedly suffocated by Gajanan and his friend, Akash. When Bharat did not return home, his brother reported him missing to the authorities.

Bharat’s body was reportedly put in a sack and thrown into a canal in Indira Nagar. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is helping to find it.

Confession of Guilt

The police looked at CCTV footage and call records, which helped them find Akash. He confessed that he and Gajanan killed Bharat and disposed of his body.

Family's Demand for Justice

Bharat’s brother, Prem Kumar, is asking for justice and wants the accused to receive a strong punishment. He hopes that the punishment will serve as a lesson to others.
