Actually, this is a matter of electoral corruption, and the allegation is of distributing cash before the polling. What is visible in the pictures is that currency is being waved in the hands of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers and their leader is holding the diary, on the basis of which it has been alleged that BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde was caught trying to distribute Rs 5 crore before the polling.
BVA leader Kshitij Thakur also showed the proofs in the pages of the diary recovered from the spot that to whom all the money was given.

Even though Vinod Tawde is continuously giving his explanation. He is demanding an investigation from the Election Commission. He is citing CCTV pictures and all kinds of evidence, but the tyres of his car were deflated so that Tawde could not leave the hotel. On the other hand, the police sealed the entire hotel and finally a case was also registered against Vinod Tawde.
Election Commission registered an FIR under the Representation of the People Act against BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde and candidate Rajan Naik on the charge of distributing money in Nallasopara.

A total of 3 FIRs have been registered in this case. The name of the BJP candidate is also included in two cases. While Vinod Tawde's name is included in one FIR. BVA's name is also mentioned in one FIR.

More than 9 lakh rupees recovered
According to the information, during this period, Rs 9 lakh 53 thousand 900 have been seized by the election officials. In this case, Additional Chief Electoral Officer of Maharashtra Kiran Kulkarni said, 'In Nalasopara, the police reached the spot after receiving information.
The flying squad of the election machinery formed to enforce the code of conduct also reached the spot. The flying squad inspected the premises and also made some seizures. Everything is under control and action will be taken as per law against anyone.
