“I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump’s Anger Triggers New Tariffs on India

Trump’s harsh remarks come just a day after he announced a 25% tariff on Indian imports, citing concerns over India’s growing defence and trade ties with Moscow. The move reflects rising friction as India continues to balance its strategic autonomy between global powers.

Trump didn’t hold back on Russia either. He criticised former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, calling him “the failed former President” and accused him of provoking dangerous tensions.

“Let’s keep it that way, and tell Medvedev… to watch his words. He’s entering very dangerous territory!”

Medvedev had earlier warned in a post on X that Trump’s hardline posture and “ultimatum game” with Russia could lead to direct conflict between the US and Russia.

Putin Disappointment & Peace Deadline Cut Short

Adding fuel to the fire, Trump recently expressed disappointment in Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that Putin failed to stop the war in Ukraine. Trump, who had earlier given a 50-day timeline for peace negotiations, has now cut that down to just 10–12 days, increasing pressure on Russia.
