Explosion in Vadodara refinery of Gujarat, smoke visible for several kilometers
Massive fire accident has been taken place in Vadodara, Gujarat today. The fire broke out in plant number A-1 A-2 and boiler at around 2 pm. Meanwhile the boiler exploded, and the fire was spread to the storage tanker.
A fire broke out at Indian Oil Corporation's refinery in Vadodara, there is news of a massive explosion in Koyali refinery of Vadodara. According to the information, this explosion has happened in the storage tank of IOCL refinery. After this explosion, a massive fire broke out in the refinery.
Though sirens were sounded after the explosion. There is no news of anyone being seriously injured or killed so far.

Although big explosion has been taken place at a refinery of Indian Oil Incorporation Limited in Koyali area of Vadodara, Gujarat. After this explosion, the entire refinery was filled with smoke. Evacuation and rescue operations are underway.
According to preliminary information received from the police, there is no report of any casualties or serious injuries in the explosion. Employees are being evacuated from the refinery amid the smoke rising after the explosion.
No loss of life yet informed
DCP Traffic Police Jyoti Patel said that rescue operations are going on at the refinery. We have no information about anyone being seriously injured or killed in this incident. We will know about the dead as the operation progresses. There is very little traffic movement on the route, so we did not have to make any diversion.
