Maharashtra New CM: Devendra Fadnavis is going to become the CM of Maharashtra for the third time. Today, he has been elected as the leader in the BJP Legislative Party meeting. In this meeting, Chandrakant Patil proposed his name, after which MLAs supported this name, and he was elected the leader of the legislative party.

So now finally Maharashtra got the new Chief Minister as Devendra Fadnavis.  This decision has put an end to the tussle that has been going on in Maharashtra for the last 12 days. Now tomorrow (5 December), Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as the CM of Maharashtra for the third time.

Devendra Fadnavis is going to become the CM

Today (4 December), a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Party was held in the Maharashtra Assembly regarding the election of the CM, in which the observers appointed by the BJP, Vijay Rupani and Nirmala Sitharaman were also present.

Chandrakant Patil proposed his name

In the meeting of BJP Legislature Party, Observer Vijay Rupani asked the senior BJP MLAs to propose the name of the Chief Minister. Senior BJP MLA Chandrakant Patil proposed the name of Devendra Fadnavis. Another senior MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar also proposed the name of Fadnavis. Party MLC Pankaja Munde supported the name of Fadnavis.

MLAs supported the proposal

After Fadnavis' name was proposed, MLAs Praveen Darekar and Ravindra Chavan supported his name. MLA Sanjay Kute took a resolution on this proposal. MLAs Sanjay Savkare (Dalit) and Ashok Uike (Tribal) also supported the proposal to elect Fadnavis as CM. Along with this, Sambhaji Patil (Maratha), Meghna Bordikar (Maratha woman) and Yogesh Sagar also supported his name. Fadnavis will submit the letter of support today itself.

Vijay Rupani declared Fadnavis as leader of the BJP Legislative party

After getting support for the proposed name of Devendra Fadnavis, Vijay Rupani asked all the MLAs if they want to propose any other name. To this, all the MLAs unanimously replied 'no'. Accepting the proposal of the MLAs, Vijay Rupani declared Devendra Fadnavis as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party and the new CM of the state.

Mahayuti will meet the Governor

Now at 3.30 pm, the MLAs of Mahayuti will meet the Governor and hand over the letter of support to him. 'People were fed up with the MVA government' After this decision, BJP observer Nirmala Sitharaman addressed the MLAs. People have given a message in Haryana and Maharashtra. After Nirmala Sitharaman, Devendra Fadnavis addressed the MLAs and the people of Maharashtra. Fadnavis said, 'When there is a big mandate, everyone's aspiration cannot be fulfilled. We are in politics not for position but for development.'

Card has been issued by the state government

This card has been issued by the state government, in which Devendra Fadnavis' name is written as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The first invitation card for the swearing-in ceremony has been issued for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has been told that the swearing-in ceremony will take place on December 5 at 5.30 pm at Azad Maidan in Mumbai.

Which party will get how many ministries?

The preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at Azad Maidan are in the final stage. Sources say that only 3 people will take oath on December 5. There will be one CM and 2 Deputy CMs. Eknath Shinde will also take oath along with Ajit Pawar. Later, the distribution of the cabinet and departments among the three parties will be finalized. BJP is likely to get 21 to 22 departments. While Shiv Sena has demanded 16 seats, it is likely to get 12 seats. At the same time, there is talk of Ajit Pawar getting 9 to 10 departments.
