In Noida, the Cyber ​​Crime Police Station and Phase-1 Police Station of Noida Police have busted a call center that was defrauding unemployed youth by promising them jobs and placements in multinational companies. The mastermind of this cyber fraud has been arrested from Sector-2.

They charged up to Rs. 25,000

During police interrogation, he revealed that they would call numbers obtained from data purchased from the dark web. They would then lure unemployed youth with promises of jobs in multinational companies based on their resumes. They would charge Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 25,000 in the name of registration.

In addition, they would take money under the guise of other processes. After receiving the money, they would create fake email IDs in the names of different companies. They would send offer letters to people from these email addresses. They would then have the money transferred to various fake bank accounts in the name of placement.

More than 10 bank accounts found

More than 10 bank accounts belonging to the arrested mastermind have been found. Their transactions are being investigated. A lot of data has been recovered. Lakhs of rupees are deposited in these accounts. This money was transferred through fraud in the name of providing jobs. These accounts have been frozen. If someone called repeatedly after the offer letter was issued, they would change their number or make excuses.

Summary

The accused has been identified as Vishal Kumar. He is a resident of Delhi. Vishal is a BA graduate. A laptop, three checkbooks, three passbooks, 19 debit cards, 29 SIM cards, 30 mobile phones, and 172 work-related calling data have been recovered from him. He has cheated more than 150 young people so far.
