Government formation preparation intensify, after landslide victory in Maharashtra, BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP hold separate meetings
After BJP's historic victory in Maharashtra, a series of meetings has begun regarding government formation. All the three parties involved in the Mahayuti are holding separate meetings today. Many leaders including BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawan Kule have reached Devendra Fadnavis' Sagar bungalow.
On the other hand, Shinde faction is holding a meeting at Taj Land Hotel while NCP is holding a meeting at Ajit Pawar's house. The term of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is going to end on 26 November.
Preparations for government formation started
In this meeting, Eknath Shinde will be elected as the leader of the MLA group. Apart from this, there is also a meeting of NCP Ajit Pawar faction today, in which he will be elected as the leader of the MLA group. This meeting will be held at Ajit Pawar's house.
Historical victory of Mahayuti in Maharashtra
Although BJP led Mahayuti alliance has won a landslide victory in Maharashtra elections. BJP has emerged as the largest party. Mahayuti alliance has got 233 seats. In this, BJP has got 132, Shinde faction's Shiv Sena has got 57, Ajit faction's NCP has got 41, JSS has got two and RSJP has got one seat. This victory is historic for BJP and its allies.
Term of assembly is ending tomorrow
Term of Maharashtra assembly is going to end on 26th November. In such a situation, according to sources, it is reported that the swearing-in ceremony will be held tomorrow. But the problem is stuck regarding the CM face. It is not decided yet whether Eknath Shinde will get the command, or Devendra Fadnavis will be crowned as CM. All three parties are holding separate meetings regarding this.
No dispute regarding CM post - Fadnavis
After the victory of Mahayuti, Fadnavis said yesterday that all three parties will sit together and take a decision regarding the CM post. There is no dispute about this. Whatever decision is taken, everyone will accept it. Everyone's aspirations will be fulfilled.
