Horrific fire broke in Mathura refinery, 12 people injured, 3 in critical condition
Mathura Refinery Blast: Massive fire broke out in Mathura refinery on yesterday evening. It is being told that this accident happened while starting the unit. 12 people have been injured in the accident, while the condition of three is said to be critical.
The injured have been admitted to the nearby City Hospital for treatment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident and has directed the officials to reach the spot and expedite the relief and rescue work.
Fire broke out in Mathura refinery with explosion
While 12 people including two officers have been burnt in a fire after a blast in Mathura refinery. It is said that the fire broke out with a blast due to leakage in the vacuum unit of the refinery.
Regarding the accident, Mathura Refinery's Public Relations Officer Renu Pathak said on the phone that AVU (Atmospheric Vacuum Unit) was being started after shutdown. Meanwhile, a fire suddenly broke out in it, in which 12 people working nearby were badly burnt.
Out of which two are 50 percent, 2 are forty percent, four employees are 20% burnt. He also told that the seriously injured have been referred to Delhi Apollo after first aid.
CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the matter
Although the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. While three people conditions is critical. However taking cognizance of the fire accident, Uttar Pradesh CM directed the officials to reach the spot and expedite the relief and rescue work.

According to an eyewitness Pushpraj, says that there was a sudden blast while starting the unit, in which many people were burnt. He says that his brother also got badly burnt in this accident. He works as a contract employee in the refinery.
Fire flames are visible for several kilometers
The flames of the fire were so intense that they were visible for several kilometers outside the refinery located on the Agra-Delhi highway. Eight people including the plant's production manager Rajiv Agarwal, production manager Sameer Srivastava, employees Irfan, Harishankar, Moolchand, Satyabhan, Santosh, Ajay Sharma, who were present there, were reported to have been burnt in the fire.
Plant was started after 1 month
This crude mill is filtered in the vacuum unit at the Indian Mill Refinery in Mathura. Repair work of this plant was going on. Due to which the plant was closed for more than a month. This trial was done on Tuesday.
The refinery management has issued orders to investigate the causes of the incident.
