Jaishankar’s discussion with Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, was particularly warm. Jaishankar also mentioned that they exchanged views on the International Maritime Economic Corridor (IMEC), the situation in Ukraine, and the Indo-Pacific region. He also expressed anticipation for Tajani’s visit to India in 2025.
Collaboration with South Korea
Jaishankar also met with South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul. He praised the growing partnership between the two countries, especially in areas like the Indo-Pacific, economic growth, defense ties, and technological collaboration.
Discussions with Japan
In his meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, Jaishankar shared that the two leaders discussed ways to enhance their strategic partnership, focusing on further cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
