India Strikes Pakistani Airbases: India carried out airstrikes on three Pakistani airbases — Nur Khan (Rawalpindi), Murid (Chakwal), and Rafiqui (Jhang) — late Friday night. This action came after Pakistani drones were detected in 26 places across Indian states like Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

Civilian Injuries and Missile Interception

Three civilians were injured in Punjab’s Ferozepur due to drone attacks. Explosions were also heard in Haryana’s Sirsa, where Indian forces intercepted a Pakistani missile. Debris landed just 2 km from the district headquarters. Unconfirmed reports say the missile may have been aimed at Delhi.

Pakistan Confirms Attacks, Shuts Airspace

Pakistan’s military spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif confirmed the Indian strikes during a press briefing. In response, Pakistan closed its airspace from 3:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on May 10, 2025.

Explosions Across J&K; Officer Killed in Rajouri

Many areas in Jammu & Kashmir like Srinagar, Jammu, Rajouri, and Udhampur heard loud blasts early Saturday. In Rajouri, Additional District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar Thappa died after his house was hit by Pakistani shelling.

G7 Urges Peace; Criticizes April 22 Terror Attack

G7 nations strongly condemned the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people. They appealed to both India and Pakistan to avoid further military escalation and protect civilians.

Omar Abdullah Criticizes International Response

J&K’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah criticized the global community, questioning how peace could be achieved if Pakistan continues to receive financial support for its military actions.

32 Airports Closed in India for Civilian Flights

India’s Civil Aviation Ministry announced the closure of 32 airports in northern and western India until May 15 for safety reasons.

Indian Forces Destroy More Drones

On Saturday morning, Indian Army units shot down multiple Pakistani drones flying over Amritsar’s Khasa Cantt at around 5 a.m.
