India vs Sri Lanka: The final Super 4s game in Dubai turned into a run-fest. Put in to bat first, India piled up 202/5, the highest total of the tournament, thanks to another explosive knock from Abhishek Sharma, who smashed 61 off just 28 balls. Tilak Varma (49*) and Sanju Samson also chipped in to ensure India crossed the 200-mark.

Nissanka’s Stunning Century

Sri Lanka replied with equal firepower, led by Pathum Nissanka’s swashbuckling 107 off 58 deliveries. His century, supported by Kusal Perera’s 58, kept the islanders in the hunt. The duo added 127 runs, the highest partnership in Asia Cup T20 history, before Sri Lanka fell just short, finishing level with India on 202/5.

Drama in the Super Over

With scores tied, the match headed into a Super Over. Sri Lanka collapsed under pressure, managing only two runs. Kusal Perera fell on the very first ball, while Dasun Shanaka was dismissed soon after despite surviving a bizarre review. India made light work of the chase, with Suryakumar Yadav finishing the game in just one delivery.
