The Indian Army released a video showing a Pakistani military post being destroyed across the Line of Control (LoC). This action came after Pakistan resumed firing and continued ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir.

Multiple Pakistani Posts Destroyed

Reports say that Indian forces destroyed several Pakistani military posts. This was a strong response to repeated cross-border firing by Pakistani troops. The exact location of the strikes hasn’t been revealed, but it shows India's strong and clear response to the ongoing attacks.

Indian Army Issues Statement on X

In a post on social media platform X, the Indian Army said, "OPERATION SINDOOR Pakistan Armed Forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along entire Western Border on the intervening night of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pak troops also resorted to numerous cease fire violations (CFVs) along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The drone attacks were effectively repulsed and befitting reply was given to the CFVs. #IndianArmy remains committed to safeguarding the sovereignity and territorial integrity of the Nation. All nefarious designs will be responded with force."

Ceasefire Violations in Kupwara and Uri

The firing by Pakistan also affected areas like Kupwara and Uri early Friday morning. Indian forces quickly responded to protect civilians and maintain peace in the region.

India Launches Operation Sindoor

Late Thursday, India carried out airstrikes on terror locations in Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot. These strikes came after multiple attacks on Indian cities including Jammu, Pathankot, and Jaisalmer.

As part of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) after the Pahalgam attack, where 26 civilians were killed. At least 10 relatives of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar and four of his close aides were killed in the precision strikes.
