Many Instagram users raised concerns on social media after noticing an increase in disturbing content in their Reels feed. Even those who had set Instagram’s "Sensitive Content Control" to the highest restriction level reported seeing such posts.

However, some graphic content is allowed if it serves to raise awareness about important issues like human rights violations or terrorism, but it is often accompanied by warning labels.

A Meta spokesperson confirmed that the issue had been fixed, reassuring users that content moderation measures are in place to prevent similar incidents in the future.
