IPL 2025: In a high-scoring match, Gujarat Titans batted first and posted 224 runs for 6 wickets. The team started aggressively, scoring 82 runs in the first 6 overs. Captain Shubman Gill led from the front with 76 runs off 38 balls. Sai Sudharsan also played a quickfire knock of 48 runs off 23 balls. Despite losing a few wickets later, Jos Buttler added 64 runs to keep the scoreboard moving.

Rashid Khan’s Fielding Turns the Match
Sunrisers Hyderabad began their chase strongly with Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma playing attacking shots. Abhishek scored 74 runs off 41 balls. However, the turning point came when Rashid Khan made a stunning running catch to dismiss Travis Head. This moment shifted the momentum towards Gujarat Titans.
Gujarat Bowlers Finish the Job
After Head’s dismissal, Sunrisers struggled to keep up with the required run rate. Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj bowled tight overs and took 2 wickets each. Despite a 57-run partnership between Abhishek and Heinrich Klaasen, SRH managed only 186/6 in their 20 overs, losing by 38 runs.

This win helped Gujarat Titans recover after their heavy loss against Rajasthan Royals earlier in the week. Their strong batting, sharp fielding, and disciplined bowling made this a complete team performance.
