ISRO: After achieving one success after another in the year 2024, ISRO is going to write golden chapters of history in the new year as well. ISRO will make a century of launches with the Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle (GSLV) mission from the space center of Sriharikota in January itself.

In the year 2024, India has created many histories in the field of space. This series is not going to stop in the new year as well. ISRO will make a century of launches with the Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle (GSLV) mission from the space center of Sriharikota in January itself.

While ISRO is preparing to launch the GSLV navigation satellite NVS-02. After this, India will write a new chapter in the space sector.

In year 2024, India has created many histories in field of space

ISRO had launched the Spadex mission with PSLV-C-60 rocket a day earlier. This was a successful launch from the space center of Sriharikota. Under the mission, the PSLV-C60 rocket has placed two small spacecraft, Chaser and Target, in a circular orbit of 475 km. It is expected that the docking process will probably be completed on January 7.

With the Spadex mission, India will become the fourth country to demonstrate docking and undocking capability. At present, only three countries in the world, America, Russia and China, are capable of docking spacecraft in space. The joining of a spacecraft with another spacecraft is called docking and the separation of two spacecraft connected in space is called undocking.

ISRO will do the 100th launch

ISRO Chairman S. Somnath said on Monday, we are going to do the 100th launch from Sriharikota in January. Under this, GSLV will launch the navigation satellite NVS-02. ISRO launched the NVS-01 navigation satellite in May 2023. NVS-01 is the first of the second-generation satellites for Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) services. The navigation system will be further strengthened with the NVS-02 mission.

India becomes the fourth country in the world to develop indigenous docking system Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh said that India has become the fourth country in the world to develop indigenous docking system. This mission of ISRO marks the beginning of a new era in the field of space.

Expectations increased from Spadex mission

The Spadex mission is the first such mission with small spacecraft. We will increase it with larger spacecraft. He said that in the new year, ISRO is ready to launch the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar Satellite. Under India's first human space mission Gaganyaan, Vyommitra robot is also set to be launched this year. Our human space flight - Gaganyaan will be launched by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Under the Gaganyaan mission, astronauts will be sent to an orbit of 400 km and will be landed in the Indian sea area.
