Jharkhand : Who will benefited if Champai Soren change his party

Jharkhand Ex CM Champai Soren who also known as Kolhan Tiger is very well know how to play the game of politics, before the elections, the political upheaval has started in Jharkhand. Jharkhand cabinet minister and former CM Champai Soren has now openly shown his rebellious stance. Champei has reached Delhi amid resentment against Hemant Soren in Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. From Delhi itself, he also expressed his pain in a long post written on X, former CM Champai  wrote , that he is hurt by the insult and contempt in Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. has been humiliated and removed from the post of Chief Minister, in the meanwhile he directly targeted the Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Speculations are there that he may be joining Bhartiya Janata Party today. Along with Champai Soren, 5 other JMM MLAs can also join the BJP.

Champai Soren comes from Kolhan region of Jharkhand. He is also known as Kolhan Tiger in Jharkhand. Kolhan has 14 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats. Champai Soren is many-time MLA from Kolhan. After Hemant Soren, Champai is a big tribal face in the state. If Champai Soren joins BJP, BJP will get a strong tribal leader.

JMM is going to suffer the biggest political loss till date due to this if Champai Soren will join BJP. And JMM's vote bank of Kolhan region will be also affected. The tribal vote here will shift to BJP instead of JMM. Champai Soren is the leader of the tribal community in Kolhan region.

The political equation of Kolhan region

Will let you that the,  Kolhan region is formed by combining these three important districts of Jharkhand, Saraikela, East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum. There are 14 assembly seats here. Champai Soren has a strong hold in the Kolhan area. In the 2019 elections, JMM won 11 out of 14 seats in Kolhan. Congress got 2 seats in Kolhan. One seat was won by an independent candidate. In the 2019 elections, BJP did not even open its account in this region.
