Security forces have been put on alert

Large quantity of weapons recovered from Keran sector of Kupwara, therefore Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a search operation in Keran sector of Kupwara on receiving intelligence. In this operation, An encounter is going on between security forces and terrorists in Basantgarh area of ​​Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir today According to the information received, 4 heavily armed terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist group are trapped in the area. They have been surrounded by security forces.

Sudden increase in terrorist activities

Assembly elections are going to be held in Jammu and Kashmir after 10  years, due to the elections, there is a sudden increase in terrorist activities. Elections will be held in 3 phases, the first phase will be on 18 September, the second phase on 25 September and the third phase on 1 October. Due to this, intelligence agencies got information about terrorist movement in many parts of the state, in which the possibility of attack on Jammu and Kashmir elections are increased.

Jaish-e-Mohammed banned by Indian government

The terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed was formed in Pakistan in the year 2000. Maulana Masood Azhar formed this organization with the purpose of spreading terror in India. This organization has been banned by the Indian government. However this terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed is responsible for many deadly attacks in the country.

Search operation was conducted with the police help

At 12.50 pm, the terrorists opened fire on the soldiers. In response, the soldiers also fired. After an encounter that lasted for about four hours, the security forces killed all three terrorists. While  at  that same time, in Akhnoor, on 2:35 am on the intervening night of 10-11 September, Pakistani soldiers violated the ceasefire on the border. In response, BSF soldiers also opened fire. A BSF soldier has been injured in the firing.

Pakistan broke ceasefire 4 times after agreement

Ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan was renewed in 2021 India and Pakistan signed a ceasefire agreement on February 25, 2021. Both the countries announced that they would strictly follow all agreements on ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and other area. However a joint statement issued in Islamabad and New Delhi. India and Pakistan initially signed a ceasefire agreement in 2003, but Pakistan has a hobbit of back stabbing.
