Kailash Gehlot taken membership of BJP, within 24 hours of leaving AAP Party
Former Delhi government minister Kailash Gehlot joined BJP. While he has been resigned from the post of minister on Sunday and has left the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party. Kailash Gehlot joined BJP at the BJP's national office on Monday.
Kailash Gehlot has shocked the Aam Aadmi Party by announcing his resignation just before the Delhi Assembly elections.
Kailash Gehlot joined BJP
Kailash Gehlot has resigned from the ministerial post and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) just before the Delhi Assembly elections and joined the BJP. Union Minister Manohar Lal made him join the BJP at the national office on Monday.
During this, BJP's National Vice President and Delhi Election Incharge Baijayant Panda, BJP's National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra and State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva along with other leaders welcomed him into the party.
Arvind Kejriwal reaction
Kailash Gehlot had also left the primary membership on Sunday, giving a shock to the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP's National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has reacted to the question of Kailash Gehlot joining the BJP. He said, "He is free to go wherever he wants."
At the same time, Manish Sisodia said that he has been associated with him with dignity. Now if he wants to work with the BJP, from where he wants to contest elections, it is his wish now.
Many other big leaders will leave AAP: BJP
Earlier, Delhi State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has claimed that many big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party will join BJP before the assembly elections. Kailash Gehlot had raised questions on the functioning of AAP along with leaving Aam Aadmi Party. He had mentioned everything from the plight of Yamuna to Sheeshmahal in a letter written to Arvind Kejriwal.
Know Kailash Gehlot
Kailash Gehlot was born on 22 July 1974 in Najafgarh.
Studied from Sri Venkateswara College of Delhi University.
He has practiced law in Supreme Court and Delhi High Court.
Kailash Gehlot is the current MLA from Jat dominated Najafgarh Assembly of Delhi.
Won his first assembly election in the year 2015.

Resignation is part of BJP's dirty politics - AAP
Although Aam Aadmi Party attacked Bharatiya Janata Party on the resignation of Kailash Gehlot, a minister in Delhi government. AAP said that this is part of BJP's conspiracy to force resignation by showing fear of ED CBI.
Reacting to this matter, senior party leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that Kailash Gehlot's resignation is part of BJP's dirty politics and conspiracy.
He said that Kailash Gehlot was pressurized by conducting ED-CBI raids and now he is speaking according to the script given to him by BJP. He said that Modi washing machine has become active before Delhi elections.
