Farmers of Punjab-Haryana have once again come out on the streets. A large group of farmers is camping on the borders of the country's capital including Shambhu border. Due to the farmers and for security reasons, the Punjab-Haryana and Delhi Police have closed the border area,

due to which the commuters are facing a lot of difficulties. Due to the closure of roads due to the farmers' movement, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Supreme Court on Saturday, which is going to be heard in the apex court today. Also, many important cases are going to be heard in the Delhi High Court today.

Farmers of Punjab-Haryana, once again come out on streets

A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the farmers' movement. It is going to be heard today. The PIL states that the highways at various places in Punjab have been illegally encroached upon and blocked by alleged farmers and farmers unions. The petition has sought directions to the states of Punjab and Haryana and the Union of India to lift the ban on farmers' protests. It has also been demanded to ensure that all national highways and railway tracks are not blocked by the agitating farmers. A bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Manmohan will hear the PIL demanding the opening of Shambhu border tomorrow on the farmers' movement.

Hearing on Sikh riots

Many important cases are also going to be heard in the Delhi High Court and Rouse Avenue Court today. Hearing on Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, convicted in the case of murder of three Sikhs near Pul Bangas Gurdwara in the 1984 riots, is going to be held today in Delhi's local court Rouse Avenue Court.

Even though today Court will hear two former police officers as a witnesses in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler . This case is related to the murder of three Sikhs in Gurdwara Pul Bangash in the national capital in 1984. On September 13, the court had framed charges of murder and other crimes against Tytler.

Hearing on opposition's appeal

The High Court is going to hear the petition filed by 7 MLAs including Delhi Assembly Opposition Leader Vijender Gupta. On October 29, the High Court had issued notice to the Delhi government, Delhi Assembly Speaker, CAG and Lieutenant Governor's office.

The petition states that all these CAG reports are pending with Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. Apart from Vijender Gupta, the petitioners include MLAs Mohan Singh Bisht, Om Prakash Sharma, Ajay Kumar Mahawar, Abhay Verma, Anil Bajpai and Jitendra Mahajan.

Anand Mahindra also in Delhi High Court

The fight between Anand Mahindra-owned Mahindra Electric Automobile and India's largest airline Indigo has reached the Delhi High Court. It is going to be heard on Monday. Indigo alleges that the name of Mahindra's new electric car 'BE 6E' is a violation of their trademark rights. However this  car of to be launched in 2025 February.

Indigo says that '6E' is an important part of their brand identity. On the other hand, Mahindra has expressed its desire to resolve this dispute through talks.

Important decision on rebel MLA 

 Today, the Delhi High Court is also going to hear the petition of former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar. Chhatarpur MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar left the Aam Aadmi Party in the month of July this year and joined the BJP.

After this, his membership was terminated in the month of September. Now he has challenged this decision. Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goyal had disqualified him under the anti-defection law.
