Kolkata Rape Murder Case: After the Kolkata rape murder case, doctors' are protests are across the country. Today is the ninth day of the protest and now in this entire issue. Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi also spoke about this she accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of diverting attention from the issue and has demanded her resignation. Asha Devi has said that instead of taking action, Mamata Banerjee is trying to divert people's attention from this issue. Nirbhaya's mother said that Mamata Banerjee is the Chief Minister of the state and she should take strict action in this entire issuer, but apart from this, she is misleading people from the issue by saying different things, so she should resignation, from CM post.
CBI is likely to conduct psychological test of accused.
Now in this entire issue CBI is preparing to conduct psychological test of accused Sanjay Rai. According to the report, officials said that psychological doctors from Central Forensic Science Laboratory from Delhi have left for Kolkata. On the other hand, a statement has been issued by the Health Ministry asking the doctors to end the strike. The ministry has said in its statement that a committee will be formed to take action in this matter and suggestions will also be sought from the state governments for security. Before the statement of the Health Ministry, the Indian Medical Association had said that all kinds of services except emergency services will remain completely closed. The Indian Medical Association had said that our demand is that the safety of doctors should be ensured. We have not made any such demand which the government that cannot fulfill.

However, On 9 August 2024, a junior training doctor was raped and murdered at RG kar Medical College in West Bengal, after this the there was a violent protest in the hospital on 14 August, after which doctors' protests are being seen all over the country.
