Maha Kumbh 2025: The World's Largest Spiritual Gathering

The Maha Kumbh, held every 12 years, began on January 13, 2025, and will continue until February 26. With over 20 crore pilgrims having already taken a dip, it remains the largest spiritual congregation globally. The event holds deep religious significance, as bathing in the Sangam on sacred days like Mauni Amavasya is believed to wash away sins and grant moksha (salvation).

Authorities are now working on better crowd management to prevent further tragedies during the remaining days of the Maha Kumbh 2025.
