Mysterious Fever: In Raniganj village of Araria district, Bihar, three children have tragically died over the past three days due to a "mysterious fever," according to officials.

Deaths Reported

The deceased children have been identified as Raunak Kumar (4 years old), Ankush Kumar (2 months old), and Gauri Kumar (7 years old). Raunak passed away on Saturday, Ankush on Sunday, and Gauri on Monday. Family members believe the children died from Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), also known locally as "Chamki Bukhar" or brain fever.

District Administration's Response

Despite the family's claims, the district administration is not yet confirming the cause of death. Medical experts are currently investigating to determine the exact reason behind these deaths. Inayat Khan, the District Magistrate of Araria, confirmed the deaths and mentioned that the children had symptoms resembling cough, cold, and pneumonia.

Medical Actions

A team of medical experts has been dispatched to Raniganj village to assess the situation. They are examining other children in the area who are showing similar symptoms. The civil surgeon of Araria district is overseeing the situation closely.

Current Situation

Three additional children from the same village, who are also experiencing pneumonia-like symptoms, have been admitted to the government hospital. The doctors are closely monitoring their conditions.
