Day 1 – White

The festival begins with white, symbolising peace, purity, and calmness. On this day, Goddess Shailaputri is worshipped, and the colour white represents her divine serenity and motherly warmth.

Day 2 – Red

The second day is marked by red, the colour of passion, love, and energy. Devotees worship Goddess Brahmacharini, who embodies strength, perseverance, and devotion.

Day 3 – Royal Blue

Royal blue takes over on the third day, representing balance and tranquillity. This day is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta, who removes obstacles and brings peace into the lives of her devotees.

Day 4 – Yellow

The fourth day is graced by yellow, a colour that signifies happiness, wisdom, and enlightenment. Devotees worship Goddess Kushmanda, believed to be the creator of the universe’s cosmic egg.
