New Delhi: Transport disrupts, in Delhi as auto and taxi drivers called strike
New Delhi: The Delhi state people is going to see big transport problem as Auto and taxi drivers will go on strike in Delhi-NCR on today and tomorrow, know the reason behind it. The union of auto and taxi drivers has called for a strike and chakka jam in Delhi-NCR regarding their demands. Due to this, people may have to face some problems on Thursday and Friday. However, officials of the Transport Department have claimed that the strike will not have much impact, and people will not face any special problem. Will let you know that auto taxi drivers have announced a strike in Delhi today and tomorrow. Due to which the people of Delhi will have to face some problems today on 22nd and 23rd August
Drivers sit at Jantar Mantar
The auto and taxi unions have expressed their frustration over the government failure in addressing their concern despite; they are raising the demand of inadequate compensation. Because of government ignorance it provoked them to sit on strike. However, all Delhi Auto Taxi Transporters Congress Union has announced a two-day strike in Delhi-NCR on 22nd and 23rd August. The officials of the organization are at Jantar Mantar with their demands. Union President of auto and taxi Kishan Verma says that for the last several months, we have been writing letters to the officials and ministers of the Central and Delhi Government and inform them about the problems of auto taxi drivers and demanding a meeting to resolve them, but no attention has been paid to our demands so far.

Reason behind the strike
They allege that with the support of the governments, app-based autos, taxis and two-wheelers are being operated indiscriminately in Delhi, flouting the rules. Apart from this, illegal e-rickshaws are also running on a large scale, which is affecting the employment of legally running auto and taxi drivers. A strike has been called against this. Verma has claimed that more than a dozen other auto taxi driver organizations are also supporting the strike
