North India Air Travel Disrupted After Airstrikes: Full List of Flight Cancellations

After India’s airstrike on terror camps in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, many airports in North India have been temporarily shut down. This has forced airlines to cancel or reschedule several domestic and international flights.

How Airlines Are Responding

IndiGo Cancels Over 160 Flights

IndiGo, India’s largest airline, cancelled around 160 domestic flights. Services to and from high-alert zones like Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, and Amritsar are affected. The airline advised travelers to check their flight status online and offered full refunds or rescheduling.

Air India Reroutes International Flights

Air India cancelled flights to and from Jammu, Leh, Srinagar, and other northern cities. Two international flights headed for Amritsar were rerouted to Delhi. Passengers can get a one-time waiver or full refund.

Alliance Air Suspends Services

Government-run Alliance Air cancelled flights from Amritsar, Bhuj, Bhatinda, Dharamshala, Chandigarh, and Shimla. It also urged passengers to stay updated through official channels.

SpiceJet Also Hit by Restrictions

SpiceJet halted flights in and out of cities including Leh, Dharamshala, Jammu, Srinagar, and Amritsar. Affected passengers are eligible for refunds or rebooking.

Air India Express Grounds Northern Flights

Air India Express cancelled all flights to and from Amritsar, Jammu, Srinagar, and Hindon until Wednesday noon due to airspace restrictions.

Akasa Air Suspends Srinagar Operations

Akasa Air stopped its Srinagar services due to the airport closure. The airline advised passengers to stay informed and avoid unnecessary travel to the airport.
