Time Management and Staying Focused
Modi guided students on effective time management and urged them to use their time wisely. He said that students should focus on their studies without feeling overwhelmed by exam pressure. He compared exam stress to a cricketer handling pressure in a stadium, saying, "Like a batter focuses on the next ball without worrying about the crowd, students should concentrate on their studies without stressing about results."
Importance of Sleep, Nutrition, and Meditation
PM Modi highlighted the importance of maintaining good health during studies. He advised students to take proper rest, eat nutritious food, and practice meditation to improve concentration. He stressed that students should not think that their future is ruined if they do not score high marks in exams.
Parents Should Support, Not Compare
The Prime Minister also urged parents not to pressure their children or compare them with others. He said that parents should support their children and not treat them as trophies to show off.
Leadership is More Than Just Words
Speaking about leadership, Modi said that actions matter more than speeches. He explained that people observe a leader’s behavior, so one must lead by example.
A New Interactive Format
This year, Modi chose a more informal approach for Pariksha Pe Charcha and took around 35 students to Sunder Nursery for an open discussion.
Apart from PM Modi, famous personalities like actress Deepika Padukone, boxer MC Mary Kom, and spiritual leader Sadhguru also shared their experiences and gave valuable life lessons to students.
